Hello, I was wondering if anyone has 1031 exchanged onto St. Croix USVI. Is there money to be made investing in St Croix.

Hello Melani,
Like Randi did I just jumped in with cash, with no clue about how to actually make money on the props. We lucked out and were only out the taxes and maintance costs, as we had to sell below what we paid. ouch. Property is a funny thing one day its worth a million, next day its not worth the taxes you pay on it. It would definitly be worth the time invested to educate yourself because what Bill said is so true "it will eat your lunch" and not even leave you a cookie
