Yes, I do up to the match. To me it seems as if that is a 100% instant return (fully vested). If I find a better rate of return I can either withdraw it and pay the taxes (factoring that into my calcs to ensure it makes sense) or do a 401K loan. There are tons of other ways we can manipulate the money into different structured accounts for access or application to an investment as desired. All of which will come with a cost and complications, given, but I don't much reason in turning down the free money that costs me only potential opportunity cost. That being said, I don't put anything any above the employer match.

Lots of good reads on here, I just started getting into the habit of reading again this past year and read about 30ish last year.  One of the most interesting non real-estate reads was Factfulness by Hans Rosling.  Just started 'The Go-Giver' this morning, seems like a quick read, good so far.   Looking forward to reading some of the other books recommended.

This is one that another BP Member @Nathan Dobbins is running.  I'll be attending this one in January, I beleive it's the 1st one I've seen in the Warrenton area.

Congrats Brandon!  Where in Fxbg is it in Fxbg if you don't mind me asking?  House hacking is a great way to get quality properties in expensive markets if you have the ability to do it.  Congrats, best of luck moving forward with it!

Thanks!   Good luck with the 'Repeat' portion.  Would you do another in Hopewell or would you be looking closer to the city?  I'm from the Fredericksburg area just starting to familiarize myself with Richmond and it's surrounding areas.

I did Shera's program that she offered this Spring.  I'd highly recommend this to anyone getting started with in interest in flipping and/or rentals.   Covers a lot of invaluable information and had quality guest speakers also!
