Just deposited my first rental check today. Feels pretty good. To all of my BP family out there, thank you for your support and keep chasing your dreams!

@Michaela G. I am so sorry you are going through this. Hang in there. Don’t be afraid to file a police report and notify her (in writing cc’ing the police department) that you feel threatened by her behavior. She sounds like a bully. Don’t give her your home address.

@Matthew Paul you and me both!

@Mary Mitchell thanks. I love hearing different perspectives. Student rentals interest me. I live near a university where it could be an option. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks, @Andrew Ashby we were suprised by the demand given how far out the move-in date is. I think part of it is that Naples, FL does not have very many high quality sfh's for rent in this price point. This is our first foray into rental property management and we are definitely learning a lot.

Thanks @Michael Noto I appreciate the advice. Happy Thanksgiving.

@Ola Dantis thanks, I agree he has been incredibly responsive and great to work with thus far. Hoping to keep him happy and renting the place out for ideally a few years.

@Kalanie Tran thank you thankfully it ended up working out and he is going to pay half now and half later.

@Jermaine Chad Ingram thank you. Thankfully we worked it out. He is going to pay first month and half the deposit now and the balance in March. I definitely learned a couple lessons from this experience.

@Daryl Luc thank you this is definitely the way going forward.
