I'm also considering investing in Matt's course. I am impressed with his podcast and I know of one successful investor in my area who has participated in the course.
Hopeful that we can get some responses here.

Hi,
I'm looking for references for an investor friendly agent that knows Woodstock and Canton, GA well. I will be working in Cherokee County and Northern Cobb County. I need to find an agent ASAP.
Thanks for your help.

@Eli Rose Thanks for actually making this happen. I would love to meet up beforehand, but my next couple of weeks are really busy with work travel, so I'll have to play it by ear as well. I know 1/25 and 2/1 will probably not work for me.

Christian,
Welcome to Bigger Pockets. I too live in Woodstock and I'm considering a real estate license and entering the field of sales in order to learn more about the business. My real goal is to become successful at fix-and-flips.
I assume that when you say you are considering becoming a "broker" you actually mean becoming an agent. J Scott has a history of great success in the Northwest Metro area and recommends becoming a real estate agent to further your investment career - not only for the expertise, but also the access to MLS and savings of RE commissions.
Also for the record, I'm a sales guy looking to change careers to REI.
I'll echo @Mike Watkins - You should meet up with @Eli Rose. I sat down with him a couple of weeks ago. I'd like to meet up with you and @Brennan Boyd at some point. Maybe we should consider starting a local Woodstock/Cherokee group in the future?
Keep in touch!

Thank you @J Scott! Reading your books now.
And thank you too @Brad Woodall.
I'll be sure to look into Solid Source.

I am new to REI and I am considering pursuing my real estate license for all of the reasons folks like J. Scott recommend it.
My question is who are the brokers in the metro Atlanta, GA area that are interesting or willing in taking on agents who are looking to actually pursue sales but will also be using their license to further their investment business?

Hi All,
I'm a new member to the site and a newbie to real estate investment. I'm located in Woodstock, GA which is just North of Atlanta. I am looking to enter the business soon by flipping and possibly wholesaling in order to generate capital to eventually invest in cash flow properties.
I'm here to learn all I can and connect with others in North Metro Atlanta. (Cherokee, Cobb, Fulton, etc.)
