@Timothy Casallas

Hi there! There’s a few of us who have attended a couple meetups initiated by either @Adrian Alfaro or Josh Pruitt. If you see a property that works for you, it’s best to jump on it. Cali is moving into AZ and the yuma market has been going up a lot. Good luck!

@Adrian Alfaro did you see this one?

@Xavier Garcia

Hi! I live in Yuma. There aren't as many multi family properties as other parts of the country (I'm originally from Midwest). They do exist, and are typically not in the best neighborhoods compared to SFR in this city. There are properties that have mother in law suite additions that could work.

My husband and I, and a friend wanting to get started are all interested in a meetup!

@Adrian Alfaro great to meet you guys last night!

Hi Ezekiel,

I don't have any experience (yet), but I am in Yuma also and would like to follow this thread to see what others say.

Although I have not personally had a transaction with him yet, only discussed REI, I recommend Derek at Academy Mortgage. I DO NOT recommend Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, I do have personal experience with them.

Any luck in Yuma in the last year since you posted this?

I would imagine any lender in Yuma will be military friendly; LOTS of military here. I recommend Derek at Academy Mortgage. We met with him to discuss REI, however have not had a transaction with him. I DO NOT recommend Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. We purchased our primary residence with them and I was not impressed. Using Navy Federal Credit Union would possibly provide the best rates, as it is a military oriented credit union.
