Good Shared info. I qualify here as we have 5 rentals and I handle 100% of the business. We offset our W2 Income with this. Thanks for the detailed info.

Hi Jade,
Im in TX and have been investing about 3 years now, but am here to help in any way I can. We primarily focus on starter homes for long term rentals in TX & OK. Hello All,
This is probably a long shot, but it's worth an ask. The craziness of keeping up with multiple personal and business insurance policies is beginning to wear on me and I was wondering if anyone knew of an agent/company that would offer some sort of "umbrella" policy that would cover a group of assets in both TX & OK similar to these; Primary (valued at over 2M) and secondary home (valued at around $500K), personal higher end cars over $100K/exotic & classic, boats, 2 LTR homes all in Texas and 2 LTR homes in Oklahoma?
Any advice helps!
Thank you!,

Post: Finding a Tax Strategist-TX & OK LTR

This has been a struggle for us. We live in the DFW area with LTR's in TX and OK, but will be selling our TX properties soon to invest more in OK. We have a healthy C Suite W2 position that has to be factored into our tax situation, but would like to grow our business and invest smart. Our current CPA is in Oklahoma and we interviewed him to see if he would be a good fit and offer strategy for us. However, we havent seen much of that and can't get even a basic email answered in re to growth or strategy within a week. I have acquired a list from he BP tax specialist resource, but would really prefer a referral if possible. Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

Hello,
Sort of new here...We have been investing and managing about 3 years now. I currently have 4 rental properties, 2 in TX and 2 in Oklahoma. Taxes and ROI are much better in Oklahoma. We had 1 short sale which was amazing and are interested in more of these. They are all SFH and we will be looking to purchase about 2 more and then a small multifamily apartment complex in the future. I am also documenting our experience along the way on my YouTube, Fitunicorn007 and IG @EntrepreneurBlondiee if you care to follow along.
Great to be here!

List on Zillow Rental Manager, local Facebook groups, and a sign in the yard. Pre qualify tenants by having them complete an application with a small app fee once you start getting interest to make sure they are truly interested and meet your tenant rental criteria before showing it.

Hello all,
With all of the information out there, good and bad, I have started a YouTube channel that will have 1-5 minute videos that showcase the getting started in real estate investing and property management from the beginning, my journey for anyone looking for where to start?! (also travel and nutrition content)
When I started there was so much information out there, but I could never find the basics or how or where to go for the resources so this is our journey. Hope it helps someone! https://youtube.com/@Fitunicorn007?si=4ovsQRiJOYMDNtPl
