Thank you all for the great info. Can tax auctions take years to see a return? or Months?

What is a Quit Claim deed? And can you explain the horror story of the 2nd mortgage being the foreclosing entity. I don't quite get that.
thanks!

Hi,
I'm an investor based in Northern VA and wanted to see if anyone could recommend a good CPA and real estate attorney in northern VA. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Very interesting. So if you list it on MLS, you've already closed on the property? If so, is it correct that if you list it on MLS, you need to mark it up to:
1) include your wholesale fee
2) Realtor commissions
3) and closing costs?
It seems difficult to make a profit if you're having to recoup those expenses. Maybe I'm missing something...
Hi,
I'm sorry. I'm trying to figure out the difference between wholesaling and wholetailing.
Also, is there a rule of thumb for the fee for wholesaling? I've heard some people make $3000 - $15K on a wholesale. Can you use a percentage of the selling price, say 1-2%?
Thanks!

Dry and wet closings? That's a new term to me. What is that? I haven't come across that on BP. Thanks!
