Finding an agent or investor would be my suggestion. Someone who is in the market and knows everyone in the market. A quality agent or investor can connect you with the wholesalers, off-market deals, and even get you to the best on-market deals fast. If you're looking to make those connections, this is a great place to find that agent or investor.
Shane - sending you a request to connect about Cleveland. Would love to network and find trusted agents / investors over there.

Hi! @Bhushan Shinkre I have started my out of state real estate journey in Indianapolis. Now, I have a portfolio of long term rentals and STRs. I've also helped other investors with their DSCR loans and flip projects. Happy to share my experiences and chat with you more if you're interested.
Hey Jayson! Great, dropping you a note to network and see where it takes us.

Hello Everyone! I'm a fairly seasoned investor out of Bay Area and entering new markets in KCMO/KCK, Indianapolis, Cleveland and Birmingham. I'm trying to build trusted connections with realtors / wholesalers, contractors and lenders. I'm plugged into Facebook groups, but there is so much noise out there with novices inundating you with bad deals and shady proposals. How do I sort through the noise, find legitimate deals and actually buy quality long-term holds? I've studied these markets, have my buy box ready and ROI criteria established. Would love to learn from the community on your experiences, dos/don'ts, etc.
Definitely open to connecting to see if i can bring you value here....
Great, dropping you a note. I'm looking for some help in Indy for sure!

Thanks Jay! would love to connect as well, will send a note. I'm doing a lot of networking, screening these days and have no choice but to do continuous vetting until I build a solid roster. Thankfully, I'm slowly getting there and I need to stay patient.
