Congratulations, great story!

William Beckett - the Scotchtown/New Waterford area. Sydney would have been the BIG city to them. Have been all up and around the Bras D'or lakes, so beautiful.

I was in PEI about 4 years ago, it was so strange to drive the causeway, was hoping to take the car ferry back but a family emergency sent me to Iowa and I had to leave in a hurry.

Bill Gulley - that sounds really lovely. We are visiting family in Colorado - taking a quick breather from Oklahoma. When I was little we would always play in the Memorial Day parade... various of my siblings would vie to be the one who played the echo for Taps at the graveyard memorial.

Dawn A., nothing wrong with it, just being lazy. It's gotta be possible to have a little code script where you say "take x grouping" of received emails and create a list of the the addresses only.

If not, maybe that's my next company :-)

Jon Holdman, I'm pretty clear on what spam is, that' not the plan. Looking for a way to at least partially automate extracting emails for people who have asked me to notify them of future openings.

For instance... and this may well be where I end up. List a house... get 100 inquiries, which would be typical. Rent it to one person. Never hear again from 70 other.

The remainder want to know when I'm going to have something else to rent them. I'd like to be able to tell them without typing 30 email addresses. I can think of vastly better ways to spend that time.

Daily driver is 1993 F150 Pickup with 225,000 miles. Husband drives 2005 Passat TDI. Purchased both new with the intention of driving the wheels off.

Pickup still going strong... going to see how far he can get. Passat TDI is a terrible car, currently parked in the driveway on it's 8th (not exaggerating) breakdown in 14 months. Shopping for its replacement which is likely to be a lightly used Subaru Outback. Considering getting a beater Honda for my daily driver when I don't need the truck for hauling.

Thanks for the info. I seem to recall that Michael Quarles was using Google to add a text response on a project and wondered if there was a way to do something similar automatically... trying not to "scrape," lol.

Does anyone know of a technology for automating the extraction of email addies from received emails to create a mailing list? This would be a small scale project, a few hundred to a few thousand

Love my fellow Okies. Can anyone tell me how to post the actual picture? It is saved to my desktop or I can access it through Facebook.

Also, does anyone know how to fix a link... when I go to edit, I don't get the menu on the top bar that has the link function...
