@Bill Exeter Hi Bill, when it comes to the loan portion of a DST, are the payments towards the loan deducted from the payout before distribution?

How does payment work on a DST? If a portion is loan, do they deduct the loan payment from that then send the balance? Also, how often is payment sent, monthly, quarterly or ??

Thanks Jessica, In this case I was considering rolling a large amount if not all into at least a couple of DTS. I am just beginning to look into DTS as an investment option so at this point I am not sure it is a good option for a large investment I just needed to know if I would be able to carry that loan amount forward into one.

It is my understanding that if you have a loan on a 1031 exchange and you sell that property you must carry that loan amount forward into the next exchange. I am considering a Delaware statutory trust and was wondering how someone would handle this situation when it comes to a DST. Is it possible to get a loan to use with a DST.
Thanks in advance.
