@Kristopher Kalieta  - I do agree with @Jonathan Greene. You should connect with local investors and offer to help, like that you learn their tricks and way of doing things. If you ever interested in Connecticut, please don't hesitate to reach out.

I also hold a monthly meetup in Norwalk CT, you are welcomed to come and visit.

The Connecticut Gold Coast has lower entry points into RE than the NY Metro, and there's the MTA line that takes you into NYC.
