Got it.  Thanks for the quick feedback.  I'll keep researching.

@brian

@Brian Adams, I will look into star pointe.  I just spoke with real start property management.  Do you have any good/bad info about them?

Good evening all,

This is my first post in this forum as a new Pro member.  After reading endlessly on the process, I recently realized that I will need to actually purchase a property at some point (go figure).

My plan is to find a 2-4 unit multifamily property using a conventional loan (possibly an FHA). I have been qualified for alone and currently only own the SFH I live in. Is there anyone out there that could recommend and has had a good experience a good attorney, mortgage broker, etc. (for someone in my position) in the Killeen, TX (Bell County) market? Also looking to connect with other investors in this area.

Thanks in advance for your time and I'm happy to be a part of this community.

Best,

Brandon W

Hello all,

I'm looking to get into real estate!  I currently just own the home I live in but I'm interested in getting into the buy/hold of multi-family properties.  More specifically, I'd like to start with the purchase of a duplex early next year.  I'd like to get into real estate to provide some supplemental income while I attend school to get a Master's.  Long-term I'd like to be able to travel more and have a bigger role in the non-profit sector.  I started listening to bigger pockets podcasts earlier this year and truly appreciate all the insight.

I look forward to learning from you all.

Respectfully,

Brandon White
