Hello,

I’m a new investor looking to understand the Cleveland market. I’m looking to converse with other buy and hold investors in Cleveland- not real estate professionals. I just want to know everything you can tell me about Cleveland real estate! Area to invest or avoid? Social dynamics? Taxes? Anything that would flesh out a picture of what it’s like to be an investor there! Thanks I advance!

@John Koster Yes I've been looking in Parma! Is it easy to find tenants there? THat was my only concern. Thanks so much for this!

I'm also interested in Cleveland for buy and hold. I'm not opposed to section 8 rentals, but I'm trying to avoid extremely difficult neighborhoods. This would be my first investment and I want to have a good experience. What neighborhoods arre good ? Which are to be avoided? 

Also, I'm looking to buy multifamily fully renovated properties for under 110k in a class B or C (but not super high crime areas). Is this realistic? I've seen some but i'm not familiar with the areas. 

Any advice is appreciated.
