@Jaycee Greene great points and definitely something to consider. Thanks so much for sharing this.

@Luka Milicevic thank you for this advice. I think this is very helpful. I agree that renderings must be done extremely well. I want prospective tenants to be very clear on what the home will look like once completed. I don't want to scare anyone away if something looks incomplete as some people cannot look past that even though it will be a beautiful finished product. Right now, drywall is up, as well as siding, and doors/trim/cabinets are coming next (just to give you an idea of how far along things are).

I do want to capitalize on this busy moving season. @Jaycee Greene had a good point about getting closer to the completion date to minimize adverse impact to interested tenants who have specific move in date to adhere to.

Hi@Allen Zhu! The townhouse is being built by a company and we are not building ourselves. It is part of a 170 townhome community and we purchased in the early phase of buildout.

Hi @Jaycee Greene! Thanks for the reply. As it stands now (and I know these dates can always change having gone through a new build previously), construction is on track for a mid July closing. Our construction manager has indicated it would be August at latest but it’s looking more like mid July for our specific property. Appreciate any insight.

Hi! I'm looking for recommendations in marketing a new construction rental property (townhouse in a new community) as early as possible while it is still actively being built. I realize that photos are important to prospective tenants, and with the property still under construction until July, I want to be able to provide quality images when the townhouse is complete. However, I don't want to wait too long and then miss prime opportunities to market the property with enough time in advance to secure a great tenant. Thanks for any insight.
