A good read is "start your own corporation" by Garrett Sutton. He explains all the different LLCs and will explain why you may want one. Definitely worth reading if you are thinking of going with an LLC.

Hello everyone!  Just wanted to jump in to the forums and say that I just made my first offer on a rental property in Memphis.  I'm pretty excited about it and hope they accept.  Who else has experience in the Memphis area?
