I have a full-over-full bunk bed in my STR and it works quite well. Super helpful for accommodating larger friend groups as 2 couples can share a room. There are plenty of nice-looking options that won't make it look like a dorm room.

However, be careful, if you have landlord or STR insurance they may require proof that it's bolted to the wall, and if you advertise it in your listing, they WILL find it :)

STR owner/operator and Realtor based in Miami here.

Miami-Dade County also requires a license to operate STR, and has some restrictions based on where in the county the subject property is located. In some areas of our county, the Property owner is required to live 6+ mos./year in the property in order to operate an STR. This can happen concurrently while renting it though.
