I own a rental home in Oakland CA and most of the crime is located in very specific areas between two interstates. Outside of those areas and there are no problems to speak of. I usually use realtor.com and look at the crime map.

I "joined" BP months ago and this is really my first forum and post. I am so impressed by the quality of the information. I will be using Cozy because of a podcast I listened to, but all the little details from all of you are great!
