Hi! I’m a newbie in Las Vegas looking to add to my RE portfolio. I currently own a home and am trying to add a second house to add to my portfolio. A couple questions:

1. What area do you all suggest? My budget is $300k

2. I’m having trouble with loans since I still have a mortgage with my current home. Any suggestions on how to get around that?

Thanks in advance for all your inputs!

@Michael Bonanno hey Michael welcome to Las Vegas, and RE investing. I too just recently joined BP in hopes to meet some LV locals and get some insights. So far I’m hearing a lot of nothing. Go figure

@Scott Trench Scott thank you so much for posting this question , and then the calculation sample. The fact that this question generated so many different answers, and more questions, means that maybe we’re not as well versed on this subject as we thought (atleast, I’m not !) truly eye opening!

Hi everyone

I’m just another newbie in Las Vegas looking to get his feet wet in the big bad world or RE. I heard and saw a lot of discussions and activities on Las Vegas over the last couple years, but haven’t seen anything of late.

Question is: is Las Vegas still a viable RE investing market? I know that prices have shot up quite a bit, especially in 2019. I’m open to long term or short term, and even fix and flips. I have about $50k in funds so multi family is probably out of the question.

Would love to hear from those of you that’s active in the market, on what you think the strategy should be gong forward.

Thanks!

Frank
