Thank you @Greg B. for your effort in coordinating so many different schedules to put this together. I had a great time and enjoyed meeting all of my fellow BP investors such as @Jon K., @Tod R., @Angie Menegay, @Bala P., @Carlos F., @Bryan Hoyt, @Andy B. and @Cory. If I missed your name, forgive me.
I learned a lot and plan to continue networking, learning , getting and receiving deals!!:}.
@Jerry Puckett, it was great to meet Sharon. You guys are tops in my book and I am glad to work with you.
I vote for Arlington next meeting!!

Michael Quarles Thank you for this diary and for this information. I am new to this but understand that marketing is king and it makes or breaks your business. You can have a great product or idea but what good will it do if no one knows about you?
When you start off on a limited budget, you need to make smart choices. I am taking in all of this information because it is a lot. I will decipher and use bits and pieces at a time. The free tools come first :). BTW, I live in the Dallas Market (Arlington). Seems like this will be a great area to work in.

Logan,
It is so cool that you are excited and ready to launch a career in Real Estate so young. You are doing the right thing by getting "social". Check out other websites that offer an opportunity to meet Real Estate Investors. Talk to your friends as well who might have a desire like you do to partner together and have fun while learning and making money.

Most times when I see DFW, they mean in Dallas. I am so excited to see a meeting in Arlington that I can attend. I will be there.

I've heard conflicting stories. When you are looking for REO or foreclosed properties to flip, is it better to find the property first or secure your financing first?

Thank you for your reply and the welcome. I think my fiance and I want to start in residential properties with a value under $100,000. We are open to suggestions.

Hello,
My name is Cynthia Franklin. I have very little background in real estate. I worked for 3 years in my city's local housing authority. I simply have decided that I am ready to begin my career in real estate investing. I am originally from Buffalo, NY but I live in Arlington, TX. I currently work as a registered guardian for a non profit organization called Guardianship Services. I want to begin slowly, maybe even with my own house. I have only heard of the potential earnings and advancements that can be made in real estate investing. I would like to learn more. Myself and my fiance are wanting to partner together. He is an electrician foreman. We appreciate all the help and look forward to working with Bigger Pockets.
