Personally, I'm new to real estate and I had the same exact question for my peers. One of my mentors encouraged me to start off as a business because of all the risk that real estate has. To use your example, you can see that having a business takes away some of liabilities from your personal portfolio; things such as taxes and financing also work much differently with a business. I wish I had more to chime in with but like I said I'm also just starting out.

Hey, I recently signed up for a broker course so I can get my license and I'm wondering if the course is difficult?

Hey Everyone, I'm new to BP and real estate. I'm interested in starting out with wholesale deals in my area (Bloomington, IL). I want to know if I should get my broker license before getting my first deal??? And if anyone on here is from my area I'd really enjoy the chance to connect. Thanks.
