@Charles Guillen Orlando has a great investor scene. My advice to you would be to start networking locally. There are many meet ups that you can attend. The best resource might be joining CFRI, the local chapter for the national REIA. They have about 20 meetings a month all over central Florida that include great networking opportunities with other investors, trades people and focus groups for REI 101, flipping, woman investors, landlording, multi-family investing and much more. I am on the board and can get a free ticket for you to attend one meeting. Our general monthly meeting is this Tuesday.

Most people are going to want you to have skin in the game, time is the most valuable resource and with most deals being so tight these days, mentoring someone just doesn't make sense for most people.

Hello all. My name is Charles.  I am located in Orlando, FL., with roots in Southern California.  I have read books, attended classed and webinars  on Wholesaling. I am ready to jump into action and seeking guidance / mentorship for the first one or two deals.   I am interested in doing business in Florida and So. Cal.  So, if you have a passion for real estate investing and teaching newbies, please reach not.  I look forward to meeting any new, novice or professional in the business.
