Hi,

We are still researching ideas where to purchase our first property with the money we have available now for our first..

A real estate agent has sent me properties in Newburgh, NY. The prices seem right for us since we are just starting out, but, I've read mixed reviews about the city in general. Afraid to get involved with bad neighborhoods and even worse bad tenants..

is it as bad as it sounds?

the thread on here is from a few years ago, I wonder if anything has since changed..

@J Scott

Thanks so much!

Hi,

Recently visited my home town and noticed some many new developments, Anyone here familiar with the market there? If so, any specific area up and coming still worth getting in on?

Specifically multi family rentals..

Hi y’all :),

Loving all the conversations and learning so much!

Two questions..

1. How do I locate an area near me that would be a good investment market? So that we can go “driving for dollars”.. lost figuring that out, we live in a very developed area neighborhoods near us with distressed properties are higher crime areas.. wondering how to go about this.. any tips?

2. Is there a way to access MLS w/o using a REA?

Tysm!!
