@Rob Jones
You are the PM’s customer. Make it very clear this situation is not ok with you. If they don’t value your business relationship then move on.
If the PM won’t at least split the bill with you, then find a new PM. Get clearer on these kind of terms with new PM.
Good luck!

Just remember that the federal government will throw a tax penalty at you if you go without health insurance.

@David Ciers I saw that meet-up and will try to go this Monday! Maybe I'll meet you there!
@Ken B. Thank you for good advice! I found this site because I saw someone mention the podcast in a random post on Facebook. I am addicted!! I am hoping this long weekend to start digging into the resources here.

Hello!
I am a Texas newbie! I am just taking my first step in building my investor network, so I am a sponge!
I had a multi-unit in CA several years ago and caught the investing bug! But for that deal I had a friend who was a realtor and property manager and he did all the number crunching to evaluate. He passed away, so now I need to learn to stand on my own 2 feet and recognize a good deal for myself. Bigger Pockets looks like a great place to begin my education! I am hoping to build an empire of passive income so I can retire in 5 years, or at least give up my day job.

Hi @George Genovezos! I see you are investing in Wichita Falls. It seems to be a more new investor friendly market. Will you manage the property yourself? I am thinking of driving up there to do some investigating.

In North Texas many homes have foundation issues too. I have heard that some lenders require a fix before close depending on the severity of the issue. There are foundation repair experts in our area, I would try to find one in Ft Wayne and get another opinion.
Good luck!
