My partners and I are looking to purchase a large multifamily property in Florida. I'm looking for assistance on how property taxes are assessed and calculated. I reached out to some county tax assessors and didn't get the greatest response. In one instance, they told me there were a lot of factors to include NOI and then in another instance they referred to a percentage of market value. I would appreciate any assistance.
