Hi @Aaron Nelson, yes I have been looking locally pretty much anywhere western wa.

Pierce county is great and I would love to own property down there.

Right now I’m trying to find a loan in my budget that will allow funds to do any upgrade/repairs. Otherwise I’ll only have enough money to do all work myself which will take a lot longer.

@Micheal Haas I did this in Kent and did all the work myself. It was mainly the roof, floors, walls, doors and paint.

Do you work solely as a real estate agent? If so how’s this Seattle market treating you guys these days from your position?

Hey Joe,

Thank you for your compliments on the deal.

I just recently bought the brrrr book I was gonna read after I finish investing for beginners as it seems like a great strategy. I will check out Estimating rehab costs as it sounds perfect for where I’m at right now as far as analyzing deals. I found a place in South Park and one in Kent from a wholesaler but just couldn’t get comfortable with the plan or numbers.

Again thank you for your advise and best of luck on your grind.

Hi everybody, my name’s Chris I’m from the Seattle area. I’m on here because I stumbled upon real estate by buying a mobile home for 2000 just to live in to save monthly rent and fixed it up and now it’s worth 20,000. So I’m now convinced this is something I want to do. My goal is to fix and flip a house or two then with enough capital keep and rent out some that make sense financially. If anybody knows the area or can just impart some general wisdom that can help I very much appreciate it. Thank you.
