@Tony S. Have you thought about just compounding the seams of the paneling and then painting it? I did this years ago for someone and it didn’t look bad at all.

@Jon Fletcher That’s a good question. I tried looking around on their site and couldn’t find anything about a time frame for claiming the rebates. I did however see that you need to use one of their vendors for install in order to claim the rebate. They have a list of them on their sites to see if you’d qualify.

I’m going through something similar right now. Switching to natural gas from oil and installing two combi boilers (one for each apartment). From what I read quickly on Central Hudson’s website, you just need to fill out a form, send it in, and wait for the rebate check. They installed the gas line the other day and I hope to have everything done in the next two weeks so I can let you know if there is any more to the process of getting the rebates. 

The problem with consolidating debt/borrowing your way out of debt is that it makes you feel like you've accomplished something when in reality you just moved the debt around..and you fall back into the same spending habits rather quickly. I think Dave Ramsey's snowball method will be the best option for you. 

I don’t think it ever makes sense to get a time share as an investment…or personal use. Stay away.

Let me know if you need help setting this up too. I would be interested in a virtual monthly meeting. I just setup an online group meeting for another hobby of mine, and used a scheduling website to help pick a time that worked for the most people. 

Sounds good! I’m pretty busy this time of year, so maybe the beginning of next year we could get something going. Or if you have time and want to set something up sooner, I can do my best to join it. Let me know!
