Hello Jacob, I also am hopeful to start investing. I have been in the construction industry for 24 years. I am based out of Winder, did you have any luck finding meet ups?

Thanks for the recommended resources. Sitting behind my windshield has allowed me to listen a lot, as well as listening while working. I am working on a some sort of partnership with a childhood friend, he is a broker in this area, he knows ARV well, and has plenty of resources for finding deals. To the future!

Hello BP

I am new to the world of REI, and looking to get involved. I come from the construction field, with 12 years experience as a lead carpenter on a framing/siding and cornice crew, and a short stint of project management. 232 hrs of hands on, general construction, course completed at Fayetville Tech CC. I have run a homeowner servicing 'handy service' since the housing crash in 2008, production work all but disappeared. After years of countless hours of driving and traffic in the Atlanta/Athens corridor, I am looking for a lifestyle change. BRRRR seems to be the most appealing strategy to me and what I will be looking to submerge myself into. I have some cash reserves, plenty of skills for renovation, and on the hunt. Have made it through 50 podcasts in the last two weeks, thanks for making this site for potential investors. Any tips or suggestions from all of you with more experience than I?

Thank you,

Chris Spaugh
