I have some equity and I want to make a big multi family purchase as turnkey as possible. I know either you or someone you know is that investor. Lets get together and build.

Hey @Michael Lane and thanks for the warm welcome. I'm curious, are there pre-foreclosure/foreclosure or rehab deals available? I mean, I hear all the time that the deal begins when you purchase low. Is this even a possibility in Westchester? Seems like everything(despite how decrepit it may be) is just unrealistically overpriced. No?
Where are the deals?

I'll be coming from Westchester, NY. I am currently working on my first deal which will be my personal residence and I'm looking to invest in MFR's in distress.
Hoping to meet with investor friendly RE Agents, CPAs, Attorneys and of course other investors. Hoping for some guidance that can become mutually profitable.

Hey @Abel Curiel, thanks so much for the suggestions. I'll be making arrangements to speak with an attorney soon.
I was thinking 3-4 family multi family properties in Westchester County since single family homes I've hardly heard of ever rented. Perhaps starting with a few condos that can give me a decent ROE if I rent them out. Something I"ve considered given the much lower 20% down on a $200,000 isn't too bad to save for.
However, the 20% down on the single and multifamily houses up here are in the hundreds of thousands. So I'm working on the funding.
Some areas that are appealing are Yonkers and Mount Vernon because of the inventory and relative lower cost. But I also see the crime rates rising and the school system failing.
Its funny! I'm originally from Queens myself! I'm from jackson heights!
Sincerely,
Christian

Thank you all so much for all the warm wishes. I have never received such a warm welcome from any forum. I look forward to connecting and learning with you all!
I'm a little curious how to go about starting my own business.. I wonder if anyone in the Westchester county area can help refer me to an investor friendly attorney, accountant, and real estate agent so I can at least start an LLC or something.

Can someone without any real estate experience get into Real Estate Notes and generate a decent amount of passive income you think?
