Pediatric critical care doc here. Lurking the forums and podcasts for years, but finally ready to dive in. My objectives are more geared toward wealth building and ultimately developing financial independence.

I joined the forum in 2016 and have been lurking over the years, but since I'm finally getting set to move forward I figured I should introduce myself.
I'm a pediatric intensive care physician by day (and too many nights) and operate a martial arts academy in my spare time. I completed an MBA in 2019 and am enrolled in an Applied Statistics grad program now. My wife says accumulating degrees has become another of my hobbies, but I tell her it's cheaper than golf and safer than chasing women.
My only direct experience in RE is a partnership commercial venture that leases to my small business, but I've been reading and listening to the podcast off and on for years. But I believe I'm at a point in my career where I'm finally ready to dive in. I'm open minded, but my interests are leaning toward multifamily. Looking forward to more active participation in the forum.
