@Michael Healy In some place, the government will not permit a P.O. Box because if they have to serve any legal and important document, they require a location where you either live or have an office. Some lawyers simply ask you for your address and if you don't have a business office, they set up your business as if you are running it out of your home.
For sure for privacy reasons it it scary, but even banks have the same mentality. You can have a Po Box on docs but they require an address other than postal office.

Soh Tanaka can you please share your excel sheet. I would love to see what it looks like. Thanks
Alex Sanfilippo i've been researching the same topic for the past 3 days. Feel free to go see my posts to obtain more info from other members and users. I actually went on QB's website and spent a few minute with a chat agent who booked me a telephone appointment with a QB consultant. I received a call back within 24 hours and the consultant took his time to answer all my questions. QB pretty much seem to be an industry standard. I even got the recommendation from a local real estate accountant.
I heard some good things about Buildium and Quicken for Real Estate.

Hi everyone,
When starting your own corporation, i understand the difference between injecting your money as equity or a loan is very different in terms of taxes and recuperating your investment. What is your take on the consequence of later acquiring property? Will the bank make a big fuss if the majority of the funds in the corporation is a loan?
On another note, how much would you inject at first knowing that you are still trying to find deals. Would you inject the funds as a loan or an equity investment?
Thank you,
Chris

Iknow i am going off topic here but do any of you use quickbooks and if yes, how much easier does it help out when your accountant has to do your income tax?
