If you were to rent, would you and things over to a property mgmt company? That could eat into your profit also.

Hi Seth,

We are the same age and have just about the same amount in start up. Good luck! I think we'll learn a lot from this site.

Money order, western union, or have them deposit directly into your account. I think I've basically reiterated what others have said, but those were the first three that came to mind.

Thank you, everyone!

@Joanne ChangI think I would like to stay in kent county, possibly Cranston. I live in Warwick, so it would be close incase of issues. I am open to both rehab and turnkey. I haven't quite figured out my best option yet. I think multi families would be my first choice, but I am certainly open to a single family. I currently own my current home free and clear, so I am trying to figure out the best option for me in terms of financing for my first investment.

Hi Everyone,

I have owned my home going on two years and looking to learn everything I can about investing. Ideally, I would like to own about 5-6 rental properties by 2020. I hope this site will give me knowledge, connections, and help start me off of the right path. Besides owning my own home, and renting several years prior, I have no other experience in the real estate market.

I value everyones advice!

Thank you!
