@Cody Harter I used Westerra Credit Union for my HELOCs. I have one on my primary residence and one on a rental. They have been fine to deal with. No major issues. I have a lot of equity now in both these homes so I am probably going to look for a new option as Westerra won't go as high as I want, but if you are just doing a $100k or so they work.

Awesome, I will give them a call. Thank you for the advice!

@Cody Harter Is it on your primary residence or an investment property? I could probably help you if it’s your primary.

Hey Stuart,

I did a double take when I saw you had commented on my post, I listened to you on the Creative Capital Podcast last week! Perfect timing.

It is my primary residence. I would be happy to speak to you about it. What's a good time we could speak?

Thanks,

Cody Harter

I live in Colorado and am looking for HELOC recommendations. Has anyone had any good experiences taking out HELOC's in Colorado?

I am looking for a recommendation for a general contractor in the Aurora, CO area. I am looking to finish my basement, including adding a bedroom and bathroom. Someone with experience finishing basements would be preferred. Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate it.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get started as a mortgage underwriter? Almost all the jobs posted online are for experienced underwriters and I don't see much for entry level. Any suggestions would help.

Thank you!
