If anybody is familiar with the Pittsburgh housing market please help. I believe I found a good deal in an area that will definitely sell. Found a house for 55k and feel like with the AVR I can ask between 120 to 150. But my only two worries are 1. I only been educating myself for the past month w books and the biggerpockets podcast, should I pull the trigger now or wait a little bit more and 2. When is the best time to flip a house in Pittsburgh. Is it smart to have a house ready for summer for a potential buyer or buy it now and hope that the winter weather doesn't affect when the house could be sold? Any suggestions will help.

@Lacee Beitler I am absolutely interested going to the next meet up as well as any other meet ups you may know of. Thank you for your response and hope to hear from soon.

My girlfriend and I want to quit our jobs and become full time real estate investors. But we havent even gotten our first property yet we wanted to find anyone who is hiring in the real estate field who we can work for before we go into real estate even if it part-time. We are eager to learn the business and very motivated to learn from and help investors or real estate companies. We absolutely dont like our day jobs so why not find someone who is hiring in the real estate business where we can work for and learn as well, since we want to eventually invest in real estate ourselves. Anybody in the Pittsburgh are who is hiring please contact me and hopefully we can move forawrd.

Thank You,

Corey

@Anthony Angotti Thank you so much for your reply and I will subscribe to that podcast today as a matter of fact. I sent you a colleague request and my girlfriend and i would love to meet up and discuss how your first deal went down. @Gary Swank has contacted me as well so I'll be looking forward from taking any advise you both give us. I would like to first flip a couple houses then eventually get into rentals as well so we have that income coming  every month.

Since I will hopefully start my first flip within the next year, what areas are good to flip houses compare to the Buy and Hold strategy.

Hoping to get advise from anyone who is familiar with the Pittsburgh market. For my first flip I want to pick out a smart location that I know I'll make a profit. I found some foreclosures in Squirrel Hill, Penn Hills and Brookline. Wanted to hear some thoughts and if anyone else has suggestions on other areas, I'm open ears. THANK YOU

@Katie Heer The webinars are obviously on Biggerpockets??

@Jeremy Pace From what I have read Pittsburgh has the highest ROI on flipping houses in the country, but that's just one source that I've read. Anyways it absolute got me more excited that I'm going to do this.

@Sam Sepasi Thank You and best of luck to you. I was told meetup.com is a good website to find REIA meetings in different areas depending where you're located.

@Ayodeji Kuponiyi Yes, I'm halfway through with Rich Dad Poor Dad and bought the house flipping book that Biggerpockets suggested to buy.  AS for the niche i wanted to start with single family homes toflip and after I get comfortable with the whole process I would love to get into rental properties.

@Josh Caldwell I took your advise and my girlfriend and I are attending a sub-group meeting next Thursday. I'm going to try to make it to the seminar on the 21st as well.

@Gary

@Gary Swank I would absolutely love to discuss with you on what my goals are and learn anything I can. If you ever want to meet up please let me know. Thanks for replying to my forum post.
