I know that some areas aren’t as welcoming to short term rentals. Does anyone know the best way to check and see if an area allows it? Please let me know. About to start my research and begin pulling the thread on short term rentals

Help! I’m under contract. I was pre approved but now the lender changed it so that I need to put 25% down and can no longer get a gift downpayment. The property is for an investment, non owner occupied duplex. Does anyone know a lender or is a lender that I could reach out to in order to make the deal work? I have a good credit score and a good job. I could do the deal with no gift downpayment if I only had to put 20% down. Thanks in advance for any help!

My sister is thinking of buying something in Columbia SC. She’d live in it with the option of renting it out if she has to move with work. Anybody investing in that area?

@Bobby Njoo thanks Bobby! Finally getting my mind out of analysis paralysis stage one is nice. Hopefully I’m not in stage two as long trying to find the perfect deal! I agree with your bio. A multifamily that has a value add component would be great. Maybe we can work together in the future. Congrats on being one house ahead of me! I’ll definitely be reaching out for advice.
