You could do what I'm doing... Live mortgage free in one of the units and rent out the other 3, house pays for itself. I literally haven't needed to work in nearly 4 years. To sweeten the deal,  All 3 Airbnb's have long term tenants and come complete with all furnishings and everything down to the silverware.
