im also looking to find some quality wholesalers in my area that others of you trust.  just have had a hard time finding decent people to work with.

thanks everyone.  our intentions are to fix and flip in the early time to keep the money rolling.  then to hold as the years go on for retirement portfolio.  

we are in our mid 30's so i feel we have time to achieve a decent portfolio by 50

@Nicole B., i hate to say it but im not a book reader at all. have never finished one front to back. My ADHD is my driving force through this so podcasts and youtube is my learning area. I like the sub 250k ARV properties so they appeal to the mass public.

im learning the area north of addison to plano east, north to frisco-little elm and trying to stay in that area.  seems the colony is very hot as well right now.

any insight on typical "acceptable ROI" on fix and flips...... 10-15% or am i dreaming

Hello all, 

Myself and my wife just moved to the Dallas area and are very new to this industry.  We have been trying very hard to learn and the wife is currently taking her classes to become an agent.

We are cash buyers and just looking to learn from other investors in the Dallas area and also from anyone, anywhere thats willing to give us advise...
