Hi BP, I have questions about buying a condemned property and need some advise. How much is too much to pay for one? The owner lives in California and didn't realize the property manager let it go. I have a team who will tear down and rebuild on the property. The property is in a fairly nice neighborhood no squatters and its only been condemned for 2 or 3 months. No liens against it. I have read that condemned properties usually sell for as low as 3k to 5k.

Hi BP. I've been busy working on marketing and sales for the past few months. Now I've got motivated sellers for 9 acres of prime real estate by the lake. It is land locked but there is a developer behind the property who I could whole sale the property to. If the real value of the property is 240k how low of a price should I try to get on the front end from the seller? The easement issue can be resolved and the developer can build a culdesac to add to his four phases of a subdivision.

I am from the Nashville area where I've also seen ads and have been curious. I'll follow along on this discussion. I'd like to hear any feedback as well.

Thank you for all the support. I'm feeling more confident everyday. I have registered for a few free classes and group discussions in the up coming week at my local REIN and look forward to meeting and building relationships with other beginners and the pros too. I'm doing what was recommended by my peers on BP.

Good morning everyone. I'm Cynthia This past weekend I attended a three day workshop for Fortune Builders. Let me say this. The fortune they are trying to build is theirs. Why would a person spend $50,000.00 On an education that you get in six months when you could invest that money on direct mailing list now a get started. I was advised on this site to do that and I have purchased 500 yellow letters and plan on doing this every two weeks I was also advised to get out and meet people so I have signed up for site tour class and mentoring at my local REIN. I'm focused on networking and building relationships in my field and with the public. I want to thank the site and everyone who gives feedback. It has helped me tremendously. I'm on my way.

Great info.. thanks to all.

Thank you for enforcing what I already knew to be true. I am doing the free introduction course with Brandon on BP now, and I am also taking online classes for my real estate license with Kaplan Real Estate Education. I am eager to learn all I can about every aspect of REI. I look forward to meeting people in my area who are actively flipping houses. I am willing to assist in any way possible just for the experience and knowledge. I can devote three days a week since I work full time the other four days, and can request the days that you would need me to assist.
