Hi Marco,

I'm a rookie as well and am looking to purchase a multi-family house to serve as a second home for us and long-term rental (we live in Pittsburgh). I've been learning for a month now. I'm reading Brandon Turner's The Book on Rental Property Investing and I am learning a lot. I also listen to the Bigger Pockets podcast and the Real Estate Rookie Podcast (also Bigger Pockets). Bigger Pockets also offers free webinars, which even if you can't make the live one, by registering they will send you a recording. I found David Greene's webinar "How To Evaluate And Offer On Rental Properties" very helpful.

Good luck!
