Quote from @Colleen F.:
@Julie Williams I got the impression that MTR market is seasonal which means you would need to get a higher rate to make the same as a LTR. Some people here seem to suggest that they can do MTR year round. Is that the case? Do you not have vacancies say in winter? I think vacancies would be the cash killer in MTR. In our area I expect you would see a summer demand because of population influx and vacations of regular staff, as well as internships but perhaps some of you that do this can comment.
The opposite actually when considering hospitals. Rates go down for Travelers in summer and up in winter because of demand do to flu and pneumonia season. Winter is money for travelers.

@Conner Olsen hello from Corpus Christi. I’m currently contemplating renting to nurses down here in Corpus. How would I go about discovering whether there’s a demand for such housing? Thanks
Ask a nurse or one of the agencies if how many contracts are available for CC at that time. Today CC has pretty much zero contracts. Also pay has been cut drastically in the last 2months for travel nurses. I think right now through summer travel nursing might be hard. Hospitals are trying to strong arm nurses to go back to staff positions.

@Ben Ashburn the RSVP hyper link keeps bringing me back to this page. Not sure if there is an issue but maybe. Do we have an address posted with a date and time on here?

At this time, I am learning how to fill in the TREC contract but I am also preparing my mind for a Sub to contract so I can pretend to know what I am doing and move fast. Looking for help on which contract that would be and how to fill it in.

@Clint G.
https://www.facebook.com/group... one has really joined and it hasn't turned into much but I am hoping it catches on and people share stories, ask for help, share what they need, and document/archive anything good our meetings produce.
