  Thank you for taking the time to connect.  I look forward to connecting with both of you in the near future.  Nooga is a good town, and it would be a welcome blessing to connect with those who are willing to share insights in how this business works.  Edwin asked for more details.  I have been browsing Loopnet, and a few auction sites for a starter duplex or basic rental units.  Some level of repair or construction is expected on my budget.  I'd like a property that I can add some equity to via repairs or construction.

I am also shopping around for a personal property.  Same concept, I'd like a property that I can add some equity to via repairs or construction.  Within 5 miles of Downtown or northshore is ideal.  I barely lost a 'cash only' auction a few weeks ago but it was a great learning experience.

I enjoy running downtown and the local trails on a regular basis.  If either of you are game, I'm happy to share some training and a meal, beer or coffee  sometime.

I've been sitting on the fence, listening to the podcasts, reading books, and watching listings online.  I would like to start taking action with purchasing some rental properties over the next few months.  I am trying to stay very near the Chattanooga area.
