Hello Canadian Investors - can anyone recommend a good property manager in Edmonton please?  I have been with one company for about 18 months now, but not happy with the service I'm receiving....or not.

Thanks!

Dan

For anyone investing - can you recommend a investor-focused realtor in Nova Scotia?  I'm interested in trying the short-term rental market with a couple waterfront properties.

Great, thanks!

Hello Fellow Canadians,

I live in the Kitchener/Waterloo area, New Hamburg, in Ontario. Given the crazy market in Ontario, I have instead purchased multi-family properties in Moncton, NB, and Edmonton, AB. However I am pausing in both those locations for various reasons.

Winnipeg is looking like a good third city, and I'm hoping someone reading this can suggest a great realtor in the area.

Of course any advice on the a/b neighborhoods or property management would be greatly appreciated as well!

Happy to share my Moncton and Edmonton experiences/contacts.

Thanks!

Dan

Quote from @Chuck Jerome:

Hi Daniel,

I live in Ontario as well (Grimsby) and invest in PEI.  We are looking to retire there in 8 years.  Our strategy has been multi-family builds (basement conversions) and haven't tried AirBnB.

I have had great success with Jim Carragher as a RE Agent. Worked with him the past 4 years. Jim works with a variety of REI. https://www.exitrealtypei.com/...  If you reach out to him, please let him know that I referred you to him.

Chuck

 Thanks Chuck, appreciate it.

Tend to agree, growth certainly has to slow down....although we have said that in Ontario past two years and look where we are today. If purchase decisions are based on the fundamentals and performance of a property, without appreciation being a factor, I personally believe Moncton is still a viable market.

Hello All,

I live in Ontario, and invest in multifamily in New Brunswick and Alberta.  I am interested in exploring PEI for recreational properties for short term rentals, and our own use.

I would love to hear from anyone with experience in PEI with airbnb, or if anyone can recommend an investor-oriented real estate agent.

Happy to share my experiences in NB and AB as well!

Thanks!

Dan

I jumped in to the Moncton market last October, with a tri and two duplexes to date. Send me a message and I'd be happy to pass on my experiences so far.

Good luck!
