Tom,

 Try PersonalUmbrella.com

We've used them in my agency and the premiums are generally good here in Wisconsin.

Good luck,

Dave

Quote from @Michael Baum:

Well if Proper won't insure it, many others won't as well. I wish I had a more helpful answer.

You could try your primary insurer and see if you can add a STR policy with it. Not sure if that will be helpful.

You could also work with your agent about a big umbrella policy to cover the uninsured parts. Double check to see if that works.

 Michael,

I am an Insurance Agency owner in Wisconsin. An umbrella goes over the liability end of coverage only. This doesn't help with property coverage.

Try American Modern. I've written several difficut to place risks with them. It may not be the best coverage ( replacement vs actual cash value) but it is something. I personally have a rural long term rental placed with them with decent coverage at a good price.

Best of luck,

Dave

Wisconsin- I am looking for a source for market data to analyze deals in the "picking a market worksheet". What are some of the resources experienced investors are using for job growth, home ownership rates, average rent, population growth, etc. I would like to look at metro areas in the state of Wisconsin.

I thank you in advance,

Dave
