Hello everyone. We are New-ish REI. I say "Ish" because we've had REI back in early 2000s and sold them around 10 years ago. Now, we are looking to get back in. We currently reside in Northwestern FL (Ocala) area where we own a home. My wife has a unique work opportunity where she works in the outdoor industry and her company operates out of the Ocala National Forest and the Pisgah National Forest in NC. We love both areas. Recently, her work asked her to come up to NC for a week as they are doing some site visits. We've been there several times, but this last time we started discussing the possibility of renting our current home in FL and spending some time up in NC (Brevard area) and rent ourselves as we learn the area. We belong to 2 BP meetups in the FL area currently. If we do plan to move up and spend a year or so learning the area and looking into potential REI opportunities in the area, we'd love to also connect with other REI who know the area as well. I've tried looking at different FB groups, but haven't found any that look "legit". So, just generally curious if anyone here can point us the the right direction, and hoping to connect with other REI and potential realtors to help! thanks!

@Mitch Davidson Would love more info on those groups as well please. Looking into the area for REI and came here scouting the forums and saw this post.
