Looking to connect with investors and entrepreneurs in Western NC

Hello! My name is Sean and I’ve been living in Asheville for the last 4 years. Getting back into educating myself and trying to just find some bravery! I helped a partner flip a house in 07’, learned a lot, lost a bit, so I’m a lot more cautious these days

I am interested in buy and hold multi-family or single family rentals in short term, long term, and even possibly Airbnb. Asheville is a great tourist location, but I’m thinking outside of city limits will be the best. I also want to explore improved land purchases to put a manufactured home on. Not sure if that’s profitable or not, but something I’m interested in exploring. Willing to learn and eager to help where and however I can.

Hi Sean, welcome back to the world of real estate investing! Your experience from ’07 definitely gives you valuable perspective, and caution is a great asset in this game. Asheville and the surrounding areas have a lot of potential, especially with short-term rentals and land opportunities. Exploring manufactured homes on improved land could be an interesting niche to dive into. This community is full of folks willing to share knowledge and help each other grow. Feel free to connect if you want to swap ideas or experiences
