My 2014 goals are to buy a 2-4 unit for my personal residence, acquire 2 buy and hold properties and flip at least two properties. Continue networking and learning about real estate. This will include posting on BP more often!

Thanks for putting the meetup together Jason Cohen. It was nice meeting everyone who came. It was a good mix of people and nice to hear about different niches and markets. I look forward to the next one.

I had a great time at the expo and met tons of great people.

Dinner was nice with Ned Carey, Nancy, Tanya S., and Detric. I'd like to thank Ned for being so open and sharing lots of good info to us newbies!

The thing about the expo is that even with the Guru's out there, we got to meet real people doing real investing. Whether on breaks or before and after the day started there were hundreds of real people to network with. Everyone was there to make money whether you were selling anything or not. That is the business.

I hope to meet more of you who are in the area.

Jamaal, We can definitely meet up tomorrow. I noticed also how some of the speakers were struggling. Some gave an overview of the topic but no substance. There were a few though that were good and actually told you at least how to get started.

Overall, I'm very glad I attended so far.

Thanks for the tip Curtis N. The market here is very hot. My agent laughed at me when I told him I was trying to buy at a deep discount.

From reading Ned Carey's comments in other threads, I'm going to look at Baltimore. The buying something there for what a down payment would be here part is sad but true.

I'll definitely be at the BP meetup!
