@John Warren that make a lot of sense! I think we will do just that to make her feel comfortable and keep her in the long run. Thank you very much!

Hi, as the title mentions we got a new tenant and a month ago and she saw a Silverfish bug once and asked us to get an exterminator. We kindly replied that these bugs are harmless and that if she saw one it’s not that big of a deal
And that she should clean well the area she saw the bug. We also said that if she sees a whole group of them then we should be concerned. So she said fine.
Fast forward to today (a week later) she messages us again saying she saw 3 more since last week. We lived in this house before her so we are aware of this bug and we would occasionally see it from time to time and just kill
It.
Should we tell her to relax and kill the bug when she sees some or is it our responsibility to take care of that?

@Andrew Cornstubble yea that makes sense... I was wondering because My wife is currently doing her nurse practitioner masters and this means we live on my salary which is why I can’t quit my job. I know for sure once she graduates and gets a job I will have the luxury to pursue real estate full time and I was wondering if I should get my license now and gain experience until she graduates or wait till she graduates and then get on it full time straight off

@Christopher Randall thanks for your input! I see where you are coming from and I might be setting myself up for failure if I don’t put all my time into it at the beginning. I was thinking of getting my license and starting off working as an assistant to a successful agent to gain knowledge and experience and then I could feel more confident and go off on my own?

@Anne T Tanner thank you for your feedback! So it’s possible but It will be much more challenging then it already is. Is it possible to start as an assistant to a successful agent to gain experience first?

@Bill Brandt thank you very much for the info! It makes sense to go with new. We are going to compare both prices and maybe if we buy all 5 appliances at the same dealer we might get a good enough deal
