Starting to think I need better realtors or have someone else step in who can negotiate better. What is your opinion guys? I"ve got two props needing to sell asap. No equity whatsoever.
And isn't Congress or someone trying to pass a law that the IRS cannot come after you for the deficiency's?

We are still trying to hold off on closing this deal d/t finances, or lack of LOL.
Suppose I will have to refi or do neg. amoritz until the market comes back up... However, with the way things are going in this country I'm doubting it will.

Need to talk to others who done one or the other or both.

Thanks
Di

What scare letter from Kunkle? I never saw it. Can I still see it?

Did anyone else get burned by this duo??

We had no one and never got a lawyer on our side first.

We built a house over a year ago for 230,000. It has not C/O'd yet. Doesn't a final appraisal need to be done now that the house is done? If it appraises now for like 190,000 am I still legally bound to it?
Not getting sold and not renting out. Mortgage payments will be almost 2,000 a month.
Home is in Ocala FL, Marion County

Our realtor says we need to check with our renters before putting the house on the market. I disagree. It's our house.
Need input.
They are done with lease july1st. anyway, it's not too soon to list it right?

I didn't lose nearly as much as you but I lost all I had and I too refinanced plus have a home being built I am stuck with.
Email me sometime if you'd like to talk.

My husband and I have been doing this pre-construction thing since '05 and didn't know real estate would take a dump. We built one for 230,000 and now it's worth 190,000!! Holy Crap, how what? Our mort. payment when house is done ( one week away)is almost 2,000 a month and nothing over there is selling!! We paid our upfront closing costs etc. and are already out 19,000 which we refinanced our own house to do! Leasing out will only bring in 1200 or so a month. Is there anything we can do to be rid of this house without ruining our lives? There are 65 other houses just sitting there.
Please advise.
Thanks
