I have all my utilities and credit cards on auto pilot, I get alerts before is due and after a payment has been received. I also alerts on my bank account balance and if any payment over 500 has been generated just to stay on top, it has been working fine for years.

Hope this helps!

As a landlord with on-going small projects a lot of paperwork is generated and before you know it,, you fall behind and become a victim of your own success, I’m looking to develop new techniques and processes to update current system, gathering information by the way is not the finest. I started using QuickBooks now and would like to become more efficient by keeping it up to date.
By the way, I do understand that bank and credit card information can be downloaded into QuickBooks, my concern is more with paperwork.
I would like to hear from other landlords how are they handling paperwork and what processes they use with their systems.
Thanks, Dennis

Hi all, and happy new year,

I have a coin operated Laundromat in my building for the last 20 years, my latest move with the last rent increase was to add a flat fee for unlimited use of the Laundromat without coins and my tenants love it. ( my tenants were informed before the lease expired and all agreed)

Is working great for everybody

Hi All,

I bought the NEST thermostat and installed just to take it away few days later, the main problem I Had with is that the Wi-Fi keeps dropping and had to reset it every time, I called support and the person on the other side was reading the answers from a scrip and the router was the blame. In addition the room temperature reading on the NEST is not the same as the regular thermostat. I contacted a friend of mine that has it for about a year now and he told me that he experiences the same issues but he can live with it. You decide...
