Hi everyone. In 2 weeks we will be closing on my first deal. An off market 6 unit apartment and 6 townhome complex. So far I have my PM lined up and am working on getting a new insurance policy. What else should I be working on at this point?

Thank you for the reply @Dan Handford. I was hoping for a review of the quality of the insurance provided. I'm interesting in going with them.

Thank you so much for the reply. As a follow up, what do you think are specific endorsements one should get in additional to basic insurance and how much would be a reasonable amount to cover to.
Thanks.

Hi, I'm in contract to acquire a 2 property deal: 6 unit apartment and 6 townhome. Looking at insurance for these properties, what is generally considered to be adequate coverage, ie what should be covered and how much would be a reasonable amt. We are looking at either 90% or complete replacement cost as a basis for the quote. Thanks!
