The podcasts are really awesome too

The FREE course provided by Biggerpockets was awesome. I just finished it about 5 minutes ago and it was without a doubt more informative and helpful the most of the books I've bought. All of the sections stay on topic and Brandon Turner does an amazing job of keeping you interested. The course cleared up some topics that I wasn't 100% clear on while also reinforcing the things that I did know. I feel like I am in a better position to move forward with attacking my goals. I definitely recommend taking the course if you haven't already. I can't wait for the next one, even if it isn't free.

Hello Mr. Bob. My name is Dorian Thomas and I am currently living in New York. I will be moving to Gilbert Arizona on May 27. I was wondering if you could tell me how often do you host meetups like this one because I would love to attend one when I get there.

I'm currently reading The Real Book of Real Estate by Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad Poor Dad). He gives 22 of his Real estate experts a chance to give advice on different aspects of investing. I'm loving it so far.

Awesome. Thank you so much. That was actually one of the sections I needed for my business plan. Does that work the same way for all properties or just houses, because I wanted to invest in multifamily?

If you're not sure how to do that, then that would be the next task for you to do - figure out how homes are appraised and how to determine whats a comp and what isn't. And what kind of adjustments appraisers make.

There are two key things you'll need in order to be able to determine if you have a deal or not.

1) ARV - after repair value
2) Rehab estimate

Thank you Mike. So basically I should start teaching myself how to recognize a deal?

Thank you both for the advice. It is greatly appreciated. I never thought I would enjoy doing this much extra work for a reward that will come years later lol

I am currently taking the beginner's course, reading books, and working on building my business plan but I keep getting the feeling that I could be doing more to put me closer to my goals. Is there more that I could be working on or am I just being impatient?
